Nasyam Treatment

Treatment of the nose and sinuses by administering herbally medicated oil into the nasal cavities followed by massage and sweating performed locally.

In Ayurveda, the nose is said to be the doorway to PRANA, vital energy, which is responsible for mental activity, sensorimotor functions, memory, concentration and intellectual activities. So this treatment is efficient in improving all these functions.

This treatment is often practiced after a Mukhaabhyanga.
